Hadron Production in COMPASS

Description

COMPASS is a fixed target experiment running with a 160 GeV muon beam at CERN's SPS accelerator. It is aimed at the study of the nucleon spin structure using a polarised muon beam and a polarised 6LiD target. In a second phase it will investigate charmed hadrons and hadrons with gluonic degrees of freedom and study Primakoff and diffractive scattering. We present the status of analysis of the production of hadrons by muons
