The Symposium on the Use of Nuclear Techniques in the Prospecting and Development of Mineral Resources was organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency in co-operation with the Joint Commission on Applied Radioactivity (ICSU). It was attended by 63 participants from 20 countries and a total of 30 papers from nine countries were presented.
