Description
Systematic investigation of enthalpy of sulfides in the praseodymium-sulfur system was conducted for the first time by the mixing method in the temperature range of 400-2200 K. Temperature dependences of enthalpy, heat capacity, entropy and Gibbs energy of compounds investigated were obtained and recommended for practical application. Enthalpy and heat capacity decrease from PrS to PrS2, due to sulfide covalency degree growth with increase of sulphur content in the compounds was established
