Description

The goal of three-dimensional (3D) conformal radiotherapy is to deliver a uniform dose of radiation to the tumour volume while sparing normal tissue as much as possible. To achieve this, new radiotherapy treatment planning procedures such as 3-D CRT and Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) commonly used in EBRT techniques for the treatment of cancer. Most of the radiotherapy centers do not having the 3D CRT facilities to deliver accurate treatment delivery, including our center. So, we have developed our own technique to treat the patient with accurately. In this work we have developed in-house 3D conformal radiation therapy devices to make the conformal radiation and to verify the radiation area with the help of CR plate holding device for 3D CRT
