Description

Effect of large longitudinal velocities Vsub(lon) of particles or strong radial electric fields on transport processes in the axial-symmertric tokamak has been considered. It has been shown that with the growth of the α=VXsub(lon)sup(2)/sub(s)sup(2) parameter, where csub(s) is the sound velocity, thermal fluxes averaged over a magnetic surface grow, and particle fluxes change both in magnitude and direction. Under the Pfirsch-Schlueter regime, thermal fluxes grow proportionally to α2, under the plateau regime - proportionally to α, and under the banana regime - as √α. It has been proved that stationary poloidal rotation plasma velocities comparable with csub(s) are impossible in the case of the plateau regime
