Effect of boron microalloying on tungsten structure and properties

Description
Effect of boron microalloying on tungsten structure and definite properties has been investigated. Boron microadding into tungsten is shown to improve ductility considerably and to increase tungsten low-temperature plasticity. Formation of secondary borides as a result of W-B alloy strain aging is shown to retard the process of secondary recrystallyzation up to 1900 deg C
