The invention belongs to the technique of pulsed power supply for high power electrophysical equipment and can be used, for example, for power supply of electromagnets of proton synchrotrons and solenoids. The source of pulsed power supply for an electromagnet comprising a controlled rectifier is described. With the purpose of simplification of design and increase of efficiency the modulus comparator and switch for initial conditions are inserted in the rectifier
