Technique for determination of the start conditions of a two-sectional nuclear reactor

Description
A method for the determination of start condition of a two-sectional nuclear reactor is described. The method consists in the measurement of fission rates in the reactor power rising and simplify the reactor control. Fission rates in several fixed positions of reactivity control unit (RCU) of the section, which does not contain neutron booster, and in variable positions of RCU of the section containing neutron booster are measured additionally. Simultaneously with the measurements the period of the reactor power rising is measured
