The coordination number fluctuations in liquid metals
Description
The estimation of the fluctuations for the number of atoms in six coordination shells in liquid Ga, Pb, and Cd was carried out. It was found that relative fluctuation in liquid metals decreases with the increasing of coordination shell number but not vice versa. Besides it is established that the fluctuation parameter dependences on the radius of microvolume in liquid have the oscillating form
