Low-energy electron propagation depending on the flare location relatively to an interplanetary current layer
Description
The correlation coupling between maximum flows of electrons of energies above 30 keV from solar flares and the maximum intensity of radio bursts with lambda=10 cm has been determined. It is shown that propagation conditions are most favourable in the case of the flare position near the projection of the sector boundary of interplanetary magnetic field on the Sun surface. On the contrary, during the flare in the sector center in a local region of magnetic field with a sign different from its direction in this sector the electron flare is markedly weakened
