Scaling laws for pinning force in ternary molybdenum sulfides PbGasub(x)Mosub(6)Ssub(8), SnGasub(x)Mosub(6)Ssub(8)
Description
The dependence of pinning force Psub(V) on reduced induction (b=B/Bsub(c2) and temperature in magnetic fields up to 16 T and in a wide temperature range from 2K up to Tsub(c) has been studied in massive samples of PbCasub(x)Mosub(6)Ssub(8) and SnGasub(x)Mosub(6)Ssub(8) (x <= 0.5) termary molybdenum sulfides. The sealing low works for pinning force in samples of PbGsub(ax)Mosub(6)Ssub(8) system; Psub(V)(b, T) dependence is described by Psub(V)(b, T)=KxBsub(c2)sup(2.5)(T)xbsup(1/2)(1-b)sup(2) low in the region of high magnetic fields (b > or approximately 0.4) For samples of SnGasub(x)Mosub(6)Ssub(8) system the sealing law for Psub(V)(b, T) is not observed in the whole studied temperature range: Psub(V)(b, T) dependences have similar form only for comparatively low temperatures. The functional dependence of the pinning force on reduced induction at hihg (T>8K) temperatures is described by f(b)=hsup(1/2)(1-b)sup(2) expression which does not depend on the type of a compound and composition of a sample
