Analysis of gold in soil, rock and river sediments by neutron activation analysis technique

Description
The problem of sample homogeneity and spectra interferences in the analysis of gold in river sediments and soil samples by neutron activation analysis technique is discussed. A preirradiation separation method based on ion exchange technique has been studied. The isotope 198Au has been used as tracer in the separation studies. Evaluation of the method of analysis has been made by analysing standard reference materials. (author)
