Cigarshaped ring galaxies

Description

To solve the existing discussion on whether the central bodies of cigarshaped ring galaxies discovered by B.A. Vorontsov-Vel'yaminov in 1960, are oblate or prolate photographic and spectroscopic observational data are collected and extended. Their analysis leads to the conclusion that there exist central bodies of both types
