Description
The low-level waste disposal site is a nuclear facility that solves the final safe disposal of a large number of low-level wastes which is produced by the nuclear industry. China's management policy is unified planning, regional disposal, and centralized management. According to a case study of the license obtaining of Feifengshan (FFS) disposal site in the activity of site selection, construction and operation, this paper expounds the licensing application situation of the activities in each stage of FFS disposal site and gives some experience feedback to the disposal site in the licensing application stage. The FFS disposal site authorized by the permit is strictly enforced to ensure that the disposal site can carry out activities such as site selection, construction, operation, closure and organized control under the regulatory standards and strict supervision, ensure that disposal sites do not have undue impact on public health, safety and the environment.
