Bottomonium production in bar pp annihilation

Description
The cross sections for production of bottomonium states χb, Υ as resonances in direct channel bar pp annihilation are estimated. It is shown that the observation of such states in bar pp annihilation by their decay products χb→γΥ, Υ→e+e- (μ+μ-) is realistic in experiments with an antiproton storage ring and a gaseous jet target at a luminosity L=1032 cm-2 sec-1 and a beam monochromaticity Δp/p=10-5
