Present situation of the electricity supply industry in USA

Description

The author examines the growth of electricity consumption in U.S.A., and notes the increasing share of nuclear power generation. He considers the effects of legislation limiting the transmission of electrical power over 'third parties' transmission systems. Finally, combined heat and power installations are discussed.
