The study of antimony (V) chloride adducts by vibrational spectroscopy
Description
The SbO frequencies and the SbO stretching force constants in KSbO increase from the POCl3 complex to the (Me2N)3PO complex, i.e. in the same order as increase in the donor number of the ligands. An apparent discrepancy is observed for the Cl2SeO and Me2SO complexes taking into account their relative position in the donor number scale. In almost all the cases, the correlation is reasonable, considering the approximated model used to calculate the force constants. (Author)

As frequencias e as constantes de forca de estiramento de SbO em KSbO aumentam do complexo POCl3 para o complexo (Me2N)3PO, ou seja, na mesma ordem que ocorre o aumento no numero doador de ligantes. Observa-se uma discrepancia aparente para os complexos Cl2SeO e Me2SO, se considerarmos sua relativa posicao na escala de numeros de doacao. Em quase todos os casos esta correlacao e razoavel, face ao modelo usado para calcular as constantes de forca. (Autor)Additional details
