Description
Worldwide consumption of tungsten and molybdenum for typical industries will be discussed as an introduction. Modern technological development is stimulated directly by the less common metals tungsten and molybdenum especially by their novel and less known alloys. Advantages of the powder metallurgical way of production of these alloys as a future oriented and economic method will be presented. The typical properties of molybdenum, tungsten and their alloys act as a basis for the discussion of novel examples for multi-industrial application in highly developed industries
