Asymptotic freedom in gauge theories and quantum gravity
- 1. Tomskij Pedagogicheskij Inst., Tomsk (USSR)
Description
Restrictions for the structure of gauge theory, dictated by the requirement of asymptotic freedom over all coupling constants, have been studied. One-loop counterterms for renormalized gravity with matter are calculated. It is shown that for O(N) group the account of quantum R2-gravity contributions permits to plot new asymptotically free gauge models with lower number of spin multiplets. The results are compared with the previously obtained ones for conformal gravity with matter
