On the problem on radioanatomic peculiarities of cranial suture

  • 1. Kievskij Inst. Usovershenstvovaniya Vrachej (Ukrainian SSR)

Description

Radioanatomic peculiarities of cranial saturae are studied on 55 macerated skulls and 165 X-ray images of acute cranial injury. Besides, 60 X-ray images of 30 anatomic preparations of ossa cranii of people died of other than craniocerebral pathology are analysed. The obtained data permitted to state that waves are primarily formed due to separate focuses of bone and, bone margin fusion being absent, this results in formation of sature bones. Besides, a so-called physiologic sature sclerosis don't testify to intracranial hypertention, as it is not due to formation of diploe waves. In children with intracranial hypertension the amount of saturae bones increases
