An integrated safeguards system for large reprocessing plants
- 1. Commission of the European Communities, Luxemburg (CEC)
Description
This article is a review of integrated safeguards systems for two soon-to-be operational spent fuel reprocessing facilities. The process is described, and data collection and analysis is discussed. An expert system (G2 from GYNSYM) analyzes the data, and for each event detected, a record is inserted into an ORACLE database, The system also allows the visual modeling of events based on data trends actually observed in the facility
