Search for anomalous behaviour in the real n-208Pb optical potential at low energies
Description
The strength of the real phenomenological optical potential has been determined over the neutron energy range 0.6-14 MeV from a comprehensive analysis of n-208Pb total cross sections. The energy dependence of this parameter, for constant geometry, has been found to be linear to within 1% above 6 MeV and to within 2% below this energy. (author)
