Critical temperature of nuclear matter at the liquid-gas phase transition in a nonlinear field theoretical model
Description
In Walecka's mean field theoretical model complemented with nonlinear terms, the authors search for the value of the critical temperature of nuclear matter compatible with the experimental data, i.e. with the observed binding energy, density and compressibility of nuclear matter at zero temperature. The result is in the region of the other theoretical estimates, but is much higher than that obtained from experimental data. (author)
