Investigations on the load of the containment of a nuclear power station with light-water reactor under conditions of LOCA
Description
The exact knowledge of loads to be expected for the containment of a nuclear power station during a LOCA will allow a costoptimum design at guaranteed safety characteristics. At the Dresden University of Technology, tests have been carried out and computer programmes established concerning these problems. Particular attention is directed on the development and application of special thermal current probes for executing the tests. Four different designs of thermal current probes will be presented.
