Distribution of UV Cet type stars around the Sun

The distribution of stars of the type UV Cet in the neighbourhood of the Sun is considered. The mathematical expectation of flares detection is estimated by constructing the non-normalized brightness function of flare stars in the immediate vicinity of the Sun. A comparison with the observations gives grounds to assert that the density of stars of the type UV Cet drops off rapidly with the distance from the Sun
