On O--levels in 16O nuclei

Description
Positions of O- (T=1 and T=0) levels of a 16O nucleus are discussed. The equation for the total quasiparticle interaction amplitude is solved. Long-range interaction is decriminated in the ''direct'' particle-hole channel. The following relative positions of two O- levels considered result from calculations: T=1 level shifts towards higher energies, while the T=0 level lowers. Magnitudes of shifts turn out to be too high: +2.65 and -4.33 MeV for the O-, T=1 and O-, T=0 levels respectively. When both channels are simultaneously taken into account, an experimental situation can qualitatively be explained using the same parameters of interaction as those used for heavy nuclei
