CORRAL II interface with the MARCH/WCORCON/COCOCLASS9 codes: Chapter 5
Creators
- 1. Westinghouse Electric Corp., Risk Assessment Technology
Description
The use of COCOMN linking code has been demonstrated, leading to two significant improvements in severe accident assessment: (1) upgrading of the MARCH/CORRAL evaluation code sequence, through linking to this chain of the Westinghouse COCOCLASS9 and WCORCON codes. (2) enabling of the analysts to utilize in a convenient way an approach to release category development which stresses the mechanisms affected by timing of major events within individual accident sequences, using fission product containment transport calculation for each sequence for which T/H calculation has been performed
