Reactor monitoring system
Description
Upon neutron flux monitoring in a reactor, erroneous operation due to ground noises is prevented without lowering inherent functions. That is, a neutron flux monitor inputs a neutron flux signal to an amplifier by way of a coaxial cable. The output from the amplifier is compared with a predetermined value and, if it exceeds the predetermined value, a trip signal is outputted to a trip circuit. A filter circuit eliminates noises in the signal inputted to the amplifier. A switcher supplies an amplifier output signal to the trip circuit by way of the filter circuit when a ground current flows to the ground conductor of the coaxial cable. Then, when the ground current flows to the ground conductor of the coaxial cable, an erroneous operation due to the ground noises can be prevented without lowering the inherent functions. (I.S.)
