Influence of light-quark masses in dynamical scale breaking
Description
It is demonstrated that light quark masses may significantly contribute to the logarithmic scale breaking in deep inelastic eletromagnetic lepton-nucleon scattering. This is mainly due to the combination of scale variables appearing in structure function equation together with larger 'current' masses for u and d quarks, recently reported in the literature.
