Description
For dopamine receptor studies in the human brain in vivo, (18F)5-fluorodopa is syntesized by nucleophilic fluorination (Schiemann reaction) on the benzene ring. The procedure is carried out in the form of a 'one pot' synthesis and can be easily automated. The yield is 54%, the specific activity is 2.6 mCi/μmol. (Author)
