Description
Pulsed power devices are quite efficient at producing very large pulsed current and magnetic field densities. The corresponding Lorentz forces enable these devices to be used very effectively in driving implosion experiments; both wire array Z-pinch experiments and liner implosion experiments. Several advances in pulsed power and magneto-hydrodynamic technologies required to perform the experiments at ultra-high pressures are discussed

Устройства для получения импульсной мощности эффективны для генерации импульсных токов и магнитных полей с очень большими плотностями. Эти устройства могут эффективно использоваться в экспериментах по имплозии как проволочных сборок Z-пинчей, так и лайнеров.
