Macrokinetics of radiolysis in systems with liquid-liquid partition of substrates
Description
Expressions suitable for the calculation of gross and partial radiation yields in 2-liquid systems have been derived both for kinetic and diffusion regimes of radiation-chemical reactions. Relationships for the transformation of the radiation yields, obtained under conditions of steady-state diffusion in quasi semi-infinite layers to the maximal radiation yields on kinetically-controlled radiolysis, have been obtained and confirmed by mathematical modelling.
