Noise thermometer
Description
Noise thermometers for measuring the temperatures, for instance, in nuclear reactors or cracking tubes up to 1,500 K, consist of a measuring circuit, a comparator circuit, and an electronic measurement system. The measuring circuit proper is made up of a measuring sensor, for instance, of a chrome-nickel alloy, and is connected to the electronic measuring system by one or more cables of 100 m length and more. The cable or cables have an inductance and a capacitance. A variable resistor is installed in the comparator circuit. The characteristic impedance of the transmission system (cable) is matched to the resistance of the measuring sensor and the ohmic resistance of the transmission system. The ohmic resistance of the measuring sensor must be so high in this case that the sum total of the ohmic resistances of the measuring sensor and the transmission system is equal to the characteristic impedance. Das Rauschthermometer zur Messung der Temperatur z.B. in Kernreaktoren oder Roehrenspaltoefen bis zu 1.500 K besteht aus einem Messkreis, Vergleichskreis und einer Messelektronik. Der Messkreis selbst besteht aus einem Messfuehler aus z.B. einer Chrom-Nickel-Legierung und ist durch ein oder mehrere Kabel von 100 m Laenge oder mehr mit der Messelektronik verbunden. Das oder die Kabel weisen eine Induktivitaet und eine Kapazitaet auf. Im Vergleichskreis ist ein veraenderbarer Widerstand angeordnet. Der Wellenwiderstand des Uebertragungssystems (Kabel) wird an den Widerstand des Messfuehlers und den Ohm'schen Widerstand des Uebertragungssystems angeglichen. Der Ohm'sche Widerstand des Messfuehlers muss hierbei so gross sein, dass die Summe der Ohm'schen Widerstaende des Messfuehlers und des Uebertragungssystems gleich dem Wellenwiderstand ist. (DG)Files
