Radio emission scattering in envelopes of compact sources
Description
Radio emission scattering in envelopes of compact cosmic radio sources is studied. A compact radio source in the centre of the Galaxy, sources in nuclei of galaxies and quasars, in central regions of the M82 exploding Galaxy and the BL Lac type object, as well as a radio source in the Crab nebula, are considered. It is shown that electron density inhomogeneities caused by high-frequency plasma waves: Langmuir, ion acoustic and whistlers play the essential role in radio emission scattering in the compact source envelope. The probable source of the scattering plasma turbulence is shock waves, appearing during interaction of the stellar and pulsar winds with the environment or as a result of explosion processes in envelopes of the nuclei of galaxies and quasars
