Uranium coprecipitation with iron hydroxide (3) formed in sea water during oxidation of iron (2)
Description
Uranium coprecipitation with iron hydroxide (3) formed in sea water during oxidation of iron (2) was studied. Coprecipitation increases with pH decreasing and increasing of U/Fe ratio in solution. In the modern ocean uranium coprecipitation with hydrothermal iron hydroxide equals to about 1100-2600 t/year. Refs. 10, tabs. 4
