Description
Almost 9 years after Chernobylsk a complete balance sheet of its medical consequences is not possible. Actually it's too early. We are short of many informations to evaluate the received doses or to achieve serious epidemiologic studies. Many predictions that the disaster announcers have done and the regular optimists have been proved incorrect. These accident medical consequences are different; we'll insist on cancer problem. In this field one single obviousness is acknowledged by everybody: the important increase of thyroid cancer among children. 21 refs., 3 figs
