Description

Techniques based on the nuclear sciences have found ready applications in some sectors of the basic metals industry for over two decades. Recent developments in isotope technology, together with those in the two other closely related fields of electronics and computer technology, now provide the industry with even wider choices of approach in materials analysis and handling, process measurement and optimization, quality control, solving of processing difficulties and in research.
