Description
In order to verify the calculation accuracy of the neutronic design for the control rod worths of HTTR(High Temperature Engineering Test Reactor), the pulsed neutron experiments were done in the VHTRC(Very High Temperature Reactor Critical Assembly)-4 core, in which the loaded uranium fuel enrichment was axially changed. Calculations were performed with the SRAC and the GMVP code systems using the nuclear data based on the ENDF/B-IV. The calculations by both methods predicted the measured value within 10% accuracy. The result satisfies the accuracy requirement for fundamental nuclear design of the HTTR control rod worth. (author)
