Description

The paper discusses the relationship between the energies of vacancy formation and migration in metals and the parameters that include the charge functions, the energy states of atoms. It is demonstrated that there are certain correlations between the mentioned characteristics of vacancy in metals of groups IV-VI and the parameters, which involve the number of boarding electrons and the atomic ionization energies
