Development of the Phenomenological Uncertainty Analysis DB of Early Containment Failure for Level 2 Risk Optimum Assessment

  • 1. KAERI, Daejeon (Korea, Republic of)

Description

This report contains a development of uncertainty analysis database by using a typical severe accident analysis computer code to apply the uncertainty analysis to the quantification of a Level 2 optimum assessment model (PRiME-L2) which has been established in previous research activities. At this point, the uncertainty analysis of a containment pressure behavior during severe accidents has been performed for the optimum assessment of an early containment failure model. For the containment peak pressure analysis, the relevant phenomena identification during severe accident, uncertain parameter selection, assignment of distribution, sampling, and a lot of code calculations have been performed
