Diffusion coefficients-surface and interfacial tensions - Particular study of some lauryl compounds

Description

Two important results of the double lipophilic and hydrophilic character of some heavy organic compounds with a polar group at the end of the chain, were studied: - In a first part, molecular diffusion coefficients were measured in order to prove the micellar aggregation of tri-laurylammonium nitrate in some organic solutions; - In a second part, the tensioactivity of some lauryl compounds (lauric acid, lauric alcohol, mono-laurylamine, etc.), was studied. Deux consequences importantes du double caractere lipophile et hydrophile de certains composes organiques de poids moleculaire eleve, possedant un groupement polaire en bout de chaine, ont ete etudiees: - Dans une premiere partie a ete mis en evidence, par la mesure de coefficients de diffusion moleculaire, le phenomene d'agregation micellaire du nitrate de trilaurylammonium dans certaines solutions organiques; - Dans une deuxieme partie a ete abordee l'etude des phenomenes de tensio-activite d'un certain nombre de derives lauryles, acide laurique, alcool laurique, monolaurylamine, etc. (auteur)
