Description

In this study the local forces per unit length acting in a tube in a single row and in bundle have been measured. Their modification by a given harmonic motion of the tube itself or of an adjacent tube has been particularly studied. Some complementary experiments have been performed to extend the whirling coefficient tabulation and also to precise the effect of the upstream velocity profile on the whirling critical velocities

Abstract (French)

Dans cette etude, les forces exercees sur la paroi d'un tube, dans une rangee de tubes ou dans un assemblage de tubes, ont ete mesurees. En imposant un mouvement harmonique a un tube, on a pu etudier leur modification sur ce tube ou sur le tube voisin. Des etudes complementaires ont ete realisees pour etendre la gamme des coefficients de tourbillonnement et aussi pour preciser l'effet de la vitesse de l'ecoulement sur les vitesses critiques de tourbillons
