Description
The basis of the theory of Quantum Chromodynamics is reviewed in both aspects, pertubative and non-perturbative. Thus, several points like renormalization, scaling violation, lattice gauge theory, instantons and symmetry breaking are discussed. An introduction to Parton model is also presented. (L.C.)
