Ultraviolet radiation dosimetry using thermoluminescent phosphors
Creators
- 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay (India). Div. of Radiological Protection
Description
Studies on thermoluminescent phosphors - those exhibiting intrinsic thermoluminescence and those exhibiting photo-transferred thermoluminescence are reviewed for their use in ultraviolet radiation dosimetry. The aspects covered include TL sensitivity, storage stability, dosimetric range of UV exposure, TL response to UV wavelength and TL mechanism. (M.G.B.)
