The binding of 125I-fibrinogen to blood platelets in patients with chronic uraemia
Description
The binding of 125I-fibrinogen to blood platelets was assessed in 41 patients with chronic uremia. The study was performed in three groups of subjects: treated conservatively, with hemodialysis and with peritoneal dialysis. Platelets from uremic patients were shown to be more susceptible to fibrinogen binding than platelets from healthy subjects. (author)
