Hydrolytic decomposition of ethylates of neodymium and silicon

Description
Products of combined hydrolysis of neodymium ethylates and tetraethoxysilane have been investigated by the methods of thermogravimetry and IR-spectroscopy. Films of xNd2O3xySiO2 composition are established to represent different neodymium silicates. Changing molar ratios of components of a filmforming solution, one can regulate purposefully the film compostion
