Description
This paper discusses the refurbishment project for Gentilly-2 CANDU nuclear power plant. Gentilly-2 was commercially commissioned in October 1983 and has seen 21 years of operation. It is now entering a second cycle of production. The refurbishment involves safety and licensing' reactor core refurbishment, engineering, environmental government authorizations, planning and costs control
