Sweden, a scandinavian duplicate of the French green model

In 2016 the Sweden mix for the production of electricity was: nuclear energy (42.2%), hydroelectricity (41.6%), wind power (7.3%) and biomass. This energy mix is carbon-free for 90% and nears that of France or Switzerland. Nuclear power is produced by 8 reactors dispatched in 3 nuclear power plants. Till 2009 the Sweden government had been defiant toward nuclear energy and wanted to have all reactors stopped by 2010 and in the end of the nineties a tax was set on the nuclear capacity of power utility companies. Now things have changed, the tax will be suppressed in 2019 and the law allows the construction of new reactors if they replace those which have been stopped and if they are built on the same sites.
