Nuclear chemistry progress report
Description
The following were studied: charge and mass variances in 56Fe-induced reactions; 40Ca + 37Cl and 209Bi + 37Cl reactions at 270 MeV; production of exotic nuclei in 56Fe-induced reactions; the 165Ho + 56Fe reaction at 462 MeV; pre-equilibrium emission of light ions in the reaction 16O + 238U at 20 MeV/u; prompt light-ion emission in the 235U + 4He reaction at 20- and 40-MeV/u; studies of the total reaction cross section in bombardments at 27Al with 30 to 50 MeV/u 4He ions; reaction mechanisms of alpha-particle-induced reactions on 12C, 14N and 16O at 60 to 160 MeV; production of 6He, 6Li, 7Li, and 7Be in the α + α reaction between 60 to 160 MeV; search for asymmetric mass division in light fissioning systems; systematics of fission total kinetic energy release; and nucleosynthesis of the light elements Li, Be, and B
