Finland's energy policies are increasingly becoming part of wider climate policies, so finding more ways to replace imported fossil fuels is the key issue. In the urgent search for renewable energy sources to replace fossil fuels, Finland is leading the way in the field of bioenergy. Wood-based fuels already account for about a fifth of the energy used in Finland
